Dana, you truly helped me heal in ways I didn't know could be healed.... or, at least, at this point in time. Life is magical and YOU exude that magic. Thank you for being a vessel of light and love. From Qoya to Cacao Ceremony to gently guiding my heart towards it already knows, I am better for meeting you. I genuinely cherish that class/experience. Thank you.  ~Krissie, Artist, Speak That Soul

Cold Spring is located 50 miles north of Manhattan on the Hudson River in a rural area steeped in history and rich in natural treasures, rolling hills, hiking trails and babbling brooks. Main Street offers antique shops, clothing stores, coffee houses, and restaurants with outdoor dining, live entertainment on weekends, and a river's edge park with gazebo, tiled promenade, and seating areas.

Visit for more information.

A MetroNorth train ride to Cold Spring takes about an hour from NYC and drops you right in the heart of the village. You can walk or take a cab to the retreat center from the train station.

Perhaps you'd like to extend your trip and make it a weekend retreat. There are plenty of Air BnB and Bed and Breakfast options to suite your tastes.

Is there a project you'd like to birth into the world?

I believe in the healing power of community. I know that art, movement and meditation are powerful forms of medicine. I am passionate about creating sacred space where these modalities can be practiced.

I am a Creative Arts Therapist who has a passion for guiding women to lead joyful and wholehearted lives. It is such an honor to hold space for women to slow down, experience authentic connection, and tap into the light inside of themselves. It is so refreshing to give myself and others permission to feel a range of emotions and begin to trust that instead of avoiding the shadows, it is possible to mine them for wisdom. I also really appreciate that each class offers the opportunity to experience pure pleasure and delight.

I want to acknowledge that it takes courage to show up for that first time as it can be somewhat uncomfortable to try something new. In a group. The good news is that there is absolutely no way you can do it wrong and the focus is on finding the place where it feels good and true. One of the greatest rewards found in a Qoya practice is that it offers a way for you to reunite with your body. You may just find that this reunion is the missing piece in your transformation.

I invite you to read this blog post that chronicles my first experience of Qoya- an adventure that reminded me that magic is real and to know in my bones that ANYTHING is possible.

Sunday July 23rd, 2017

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel for any reason and we can find a person to take your spot, we will refund the amount paid minus a $25 administration fee. If we cannot find a person to take your spot, there are no refunds; however, you can transfer your paid spot to someone else, so you can send a friend or family member to the retreat in your place.

During this retreat, we will explore the principles of Qoya. Qoya is a movement system that helps women to get out of their heads and into their bodies so that you can begin to trust yourself deeply and follow your intuition like a compass. Qoya is also a lifestyle that invites you to live from your deepest wisdom and truth.

The three tenets of Qoya are that we as women remember our essence as wise, wild, and free.

Wise is knowing your truth.

Wild is standing for your truth and staying committed to yourself.

Free is having the space to speak your truth, to speak from your soul.

You can learn more about Qoya here, where you'll receive the first chapter of Rochelle's (Qoya's founder) book for free!

For an introduction into the movement practices, sign up for "10 Days of Qoya Love" here (also FREE!)

I am without words to describe the soul gift given me by Dana W. through the recent Cacao & Gratitude Ceremony. A tender, soulful experience facilitated with insight, empathy, wisdom, and grace. ~Alma, Social Worker/Artist/Yoga Teacher, Ursa Wild
